The very first international technology show of the year, CES 2015 is one of the best places to spot the technology trends that will dominate the other tech show for the upcoming months. Here is our pick of such six technology trends that will possibly dominate the tech trends the whole year.
1. 4K is the new trend!
Though 4K or Ultra HD is not something new for the technology world, but the indications of CES 2015 shows that that 2015 could be the year in which you can see the latest display technology can foray into new devices and scale new price tags. If Dell’s new Inspiron and Alienware ranges serve as indicants then 4K technology will hit the big computing devices this year. Then again, launch of cameras by Sony and Panasonic that make 4K content much easier indicates that this technology could face drastically decline in price range by the end of this year

2. More Android
CES 2015 exhibited the domination of the world’s most used Operating system, Android on not only smartphone technology but on other devices as well. Sony has announced to join hands with Google to launch the world’s first Android Lollipop Televisions which will be powered by MediaTek processors. Though, over the top Android Boxes are not a new thing for televisions, it will be the first time that users will experience the trademarked blue screen of Google on the television. The domination of Android was seen more on wearables and smart glasses as well.

Though there have not been any considerable boost in the technology section of wearables but every tech company out there is aiming to launch their wearable device in the market. It has not been so clear so fat how much value these devices hold for a user, but it is quite evident that these devices are actually aiming at more than just fitness trackers.

Tech companies have finally realized that it’s a profitable business to help people stay fit. Innovations are now aiming not only to help people stay fit but in fact keeping them fit, which means to look beyond fitness trackers. There is no doubt that this year could see some of the fitness devices that will try to keep you fit whatever you are doing. Possibly there could be some devices for mental fitness too.
5. Affordable Smartphones
Affordable smartphones-not only pocket-wise but budget wise too is now as good as any flagship. Recent smartphones launches like Lenovo Vibe X2, OnePlus One, Meizu MX4 and Yu Yureka have shown that these $100-$300 ranged smartphones can take on high end smartphones in terms of features and specifications. This year could witness the drift of big smartphones makers to the mid-ranged smartphones which have a small margin yet relatively large market.

This year could be the year in which the transfer between devices and ecosystems can become more smooth and fluid. The Cloud could play a vital role in this smooth chatter between the device and the different ecosystems. All of this will ultimately benefit the users to give them a better user experience.
