Looking for tickets for a show? Google has made it easier for its users to get event tickets of their favorite music bands. Google has rolled out a few Search Engine updates including which users can purchase events tickets directly from the result page.
Working on the addition of official dates to knowledge graph from last year, Google said that the updates will enable webmasters to add some codes that will result in more details regarding the artist’s events on the result page such as; official tickets listing, comedian events, delegated event list and event venue info. This is the next step to provide the surfers everything on their result page.
For example, if you are looking for upcoming tours of Ariana Grande, just Google her name with tour, and you will be able to find her
upcoming tours and venues as well as a link to the official ticket buying site as shown below.
The improved feature is the result of the preferences and searches made by the customers while using the search engine. The latest update envision the searches and data the customer may need, opposing the conventional and restricted search based on closest word typed in the search box. Various ticket vending organizations included in this new feature are Ticketmaster, TicketeWeb, AXS, TicketFly, ShowClix and many other organizations yet to be added in the venture.
The overhaul will let the entertainers to include not only ticket links but also designated event links to their result page. Using the new graph service, customers will be able to see the event’s venue, date and a hyperlink to the entertainer’s preferred ticket vending organizations when they type and search the entertainers name on the search engine.
While for entertainers and performers who do not list their event updates on the result page but instead of it, post it to somewhere else can utilize appointment markup to tell Google where to reach the information related to their event.
The updated feature was reported by Zineb Ait Bahajji, a Zurich-based Google Webmaster patterns examiner on her Google+ page, who said that organizations can now use structured markup on their websites to add hyperlinks to their different SNS pages including Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Youtube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Myspace.
